LOK KAWI WILDLIFE PARK/KOTA KINABALU CITY TOUR
In the morning, pick up from your hotel and drive to Lok Kawi Wildlife Park. This park is sprawled over 280 acres of land. You will have the chance to get close to some of the Borneo endemic species here. There are over 88 animals in the park including the endangered orang- utans, sun bears, Borneo Pygmy elephants, proboscis monkeys, tigers, mouse deer, barking deer, otters and various species of birds. After lunch, proceed to visit the famed landmarks and attractions of Kota Kinabalu City, the capital of Sabah. See the panoramic view of the city from Signal Hill’s Observatory. Learn the historical significance of the Atkinson Clock Tower. Marvel at the unique 30-storey high circular Sabah Foundation Building. Pass by the beautiful Blue City Mosque, built after the immaculate Nabawi Mosque inMedina. You will also see the famous Buddhist Puh Toh Tze temple with its traditional Chinese roofing and structure and huge reclining Buddha. Visit the Sabah State Museum to gain insight of the rich history, culture and heritage of the people of Sabah. We pass by the Sabah State Mosque, a masterpiece of architecture with its dove-grey walls and glittering majestic domes with gold inlay, a clever and unique combination of Islamic architecture and contemporary design. See the long casuarina-lined sandy beach at Tanjung Aru before returning to your hotel (Lunch included)
